Anyone know of a decent one? I'm willing to travel 100 miles or so. I live in Rock Springs. Not happy with R&B. I used Henderson's for years. They made awesome jalapeno/cheese salami and great snack sticks. Last year I decided to have a bunch of that stuff made so I could have plenty to last and also be able to give away some to friends for gifts. Well...apparently they decided to change the recipe without letting anyone know. And add more fat. Now it sucks. I can't even finish a roll. They went from the best around to 2nd from the bottom. My buddy also took his elk in and they gave him 4 steaks per package instead of the 2 he ordered. It's real nice to thaw out 4 elk round steaks for your wife and yourself. Prices were also higher. I won't use them anymore. Yes, I know how to process my own. I've done it for decades. Don't want to do elk by myself anymore. Lazy? Maybe...Any ideas?? Thanks

I haven't a clue about processors in Wyoming, as I process all my own game, beef, pork.
As a processor of deer in my home state of West Virginia, I know the hectic days of seasonal help.
I strongly suggest going to your processor and letting them know that you had some dislikes.
Sometimes the help isn't top notch every year. Employees come and go and it's hard to keep good help for only a couple weeks a year to handle the surge of work.
Sometimes a little understanding goes a long way.
It's hard work to cut meat for hours on hours that goes on for days upon days. I personally get little to know sleep for the first three days of our deer season when I was working up wild game meat.
I no longer do that anymore. I stopped a couple years ago. I just do taxidermy now and that's still more than I can handle most years.
They can't fix it if they don't know it's broke.

Brothers in Craig Co does a really nice job. Just did my antelope. Vacuum sealed all packages and a really clean operation

There is a guy in kemmerer who cuts meat, Richard Miller. I take all my elk to him. he makes some damn good snack sticks and jalape?o cheese summer sausage!
