Bear hunt

Planning to do a bear hunt in montana this spring up around Missoula, will most likely be busy a good camping trip to get out in the mountains. Anyone hunt around Missoula? Are there many old logging roads? Is there good glassing areas around there where it's not too thick? Any help would be great.
