Montana Moose 105 near Libby

Got lucky and drew a nonresident moose tag for the East Cabinet Mtns near Libby. Area 105. My plan was to hunt for a week around Oct 1st and if unsuccessful try again in November. I would welcome any help, comments, information any of might be willing to share. Thanks Tony

Enjoyed the breathtaking scenery but the moose were tough to come by. Received a few tips from a couple guys on this site and talked to the local biologist out of Libby but still failed to find a moose. I spent a week walking all over the hills just South of Libby and never saw a moose. Had one grunting at me but never saw him. Wish I could have spent more time later in the season but it just didn't work out. Good luck to your buddy.
