Found someone's equipment while hunting near Palisades, up high and way back in, a GPS, pair of binoculars, pack. Laying by a water bottle under a tree. Would like to get it back to whoever owns it. PM me if it is yours.

I did follow up with the Bonneville County Sherriff's office. There have been no reports of any missing persons or emergencies in that area. Might have taken off on a chase and couldn't relocate it????

Great offer. Maybe dropped gear to lighten up and cover ground going after something and couldn't find where they left it.

Middle of the road, definitely not cheap. Called the gps company and gave them the serial number to see if it had been registered and it had not. Looked like it had been there awhile when I found it. Guessing they forgot it and it was too far in to go back for.

Wow to bad the hunter lost his gear, glad you tried to find the owner. Been there dropped my gear to do a stalk thought I had the location noted. Dropped into a steep canyon upon returning it took me half a day to find my gear, didn't help it was all in camo. Bought a gps after that mistake. Supprised the hunter left the gps and didn't mark the gear spot.....

Trophey that goes back to one of my inventions that they should have a rip cord of some type on your pack with flourecent fabric that you can pull out a few feet when stalking.

If the gps is functional, check the waypoints. The owners residence may be on there.

Nothing real exciting on the story. My dad took his gear off to help load the pack horses during a snowstorm and then simply forgot to grab it before we left. 4 hrs ride later we made it back to the truck and he realized he had left it. We did go back later in the season, but some real good people had already picked it up. Thanks again to those that helped get it back in the right hands!
