Anyone know how it's looking around Afton this year?

LAST EDITED ON Mar-04-19 AT 10:18AM (MST)[p]That last big storm was strange, I read they got 17 inches in Alpine but only a inch in Afton 30 miles away. Hopefully these warmer days will melt some winter range. Jackson had a recorded breaking Feb, not so much south of there.

The Caribou National Forest itself is showing around 129% of normal snowfall. I know some of those deer head south and winter around the Bear Lake country and Sage Junction just from what the Wyoming Range mule deer study has found. Looks like the winter has been pretty average on those winter ranges. Do any of those deer migrate west out to Soda Springs country or more northerly? I'd like to learn more about that if anyone would like to share that info.

We are loosing deer in the central mountains of Idaho , I was out yesterday and took a lot of pictures . I will get some help latter today and post pictures or start a new thread. The reason I mentioned it here. We are on the same storm systems.
