Final Draft Proposals

Despite the anti IDFG rhetoric on MM's, they actually do listen.

I commented 3 times (from different computers and different IP addresses) during the original comment period. This final draft is exactly what I proposed in February regarding one of the elk zones. They do actually listen fellas.

All in all, they didn't turn out as bad as I had imagined. There is a new hunt in 31 that I hoped wouldn't make it, but it did. I'm happy with the new bear proposals in the Weiser River units.

Still dont care for all the otc cow hunts. Mainly because I fear the odds of drawing an antlered tag in those units are going to be a lot worse.

I agree 100%, if you take the time, make educated rebuttals, they do indeed listen. Final draft looks pretty solid. Now, if we can get the "Good ole boy" group of commissioners to sign off without butchering it to all hell.

I'm a little confused on the 32 bear situation. It says converting it to general, but then further down in the seasons it still shows a 32 controlled season.

I do wish they would leave that as a draw hunt.

It looks like they want to open a general spring season and retain the fall controlled hunt.
