Vortex advertisement should say best warranty but guaranteed to fail on a hunt. Sell that pos just my opinion.
I use to be a vortex guy but learned my lesson the hard way.

I have had zero issues with my 3 HSLR models.
The Diamondback is half the cost, so it makes sense the quality may be less. Not sure how much I would bash a $200 scope, especially with a bullet proof warranty.
Best to keep things in perspective on a public forum.

Not many companies offer a lifetime warranty on $450 scopes, much less $200 scopes. Probably operator error above.
