Got a question?
When you have put in for a draw you have two choices, A first and second choice.
Have many have ever gotten their 2nd choice over their first choice?
Trying to decide on what I'm going to put in for this year.

Unless it is an unlimited or antlerless tag you will never draw a 2nd choice in Idaho. The way the draw works they only look at 1st choice until all 1st choice applications are either drawn for a tag or unsuccessful, then if there are tags remaining they will go to 2nd choices

There?s a few tags that go to 2nd choice but most of the hunts have enough applicants to fill all of them on 1st choice. I've never put a 2nd choice because it's a waste of time for the hunts I usually put in for.

There is one unit that I have drawn twice as a 2nd choice. That particular unit used to have tags left on the counter though.
