Opening day bull

Got lucky this year. This was the first (only) bugling bull we heard, he came in on the first set up. Wife made a great 25 yd shot and he went 50 yds.

Thanks. I had to turn my archery tag back in after getting a pacemaker implant on Aug. 23. I can't draw my bow until Sept 20 and did not feel comfortable with lack of practice. I did get clearance to hike though and I've never felt better. She shot this bull exactly one week after my surgery. Because I had limited movement in my arm and was restricted to lifting 10 lbs or less. she cleaned and packed half the animal off the mountain...3 miles! I did call a buddy to help come pack the other half of it.

Way to go! I had a buddy not connect of a 5x yesterday I called in for him to 35 yards and he kept belly aching how cool it would have been to connect on his best bull first couple hours of his hunt.
