Good luck to you and your son, it's not easy by any means, but if your successful that is the best feeling ever..the look on those kids faces when they get a bird and get to touch it and feel just how big they are is priceless..this young lady missed 2 birds last year and was so determined to get one this year that it paid off 10 fold..
I am obsessed with hunting turkeys with archery equipment and put in way more work and energy than any other game species, with that said it is more satisfying to help someone who has never heard the morning gobble and fly downs and watch them tremble with excitement and anticipation as a strutting tom works his way within shooting distance.. what a rush and to think you get to do all this during some of the best times of the year as the world comes alive in the spring..cant beat it IMO..
