Score! Any X9A hunters here?

So after two plus decades of not having a hunting license or accumulated points I retook the test and put in for every tag and draw available. should have bought a loto ticket also because I scored not only X9A, but Also a Lassen Zone 4, period 2 Pronghorn Tag!
I live in Mammoth so Im just wondering who else local scored also?

Huge congrats on pulling some very hard to draw tags especially with zero points. I'm not from the area but have hunted x9a extensively since I was a kid, mainly the early archery tag. If you want to send me a pm with ph# I can call with a few tips. Which ones depend on physical capability and personal goals.

Well based on the replies and input, looks like I'm the only one hunting X9a lol. I've been asking around and it seems only one ?friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend? scored locally.
Clearly the majority of posters here are Midwest. Ya?ll should buy a California D7 (my other tag, and one I've never hunted) and come out. It's hard, serious mtn terain but big anaimals in there!

Not too manny guys like to hand out info on an open forum that any Tom d!ck and Harry can google. Sounds like you got one good hit, that's not bad for someone with a low post count. Post counts aren't everything but we do like to see someone that's a little more active before handing out info.

my low post count is due to the fact that I spend my time outdoors, not on the computer. one day ill try and catch up to you. not.
