Anyone else hunt this unit with much success? My Dad and I used to hunt it quite a bit but started going out of state instead. I may go back and give it a shot.

Cancer doesn't discriminate...don't take your good health for granted because it can be gone in a heartbeat. Please go back and read the last line. This time really understand what it says.

I live in d13 and Ive hunted it every year since 2012 with no success. My hunting partner grew up and hunted this area for over forty years and has had only limited success in the past twenty years. Some people do have success, however, but the ones who do aint giving up their honey holes.

Anyway, good luck, I'll be out there again this year too.

Chris- You by chance never lived on Lockford St, did you?

My Dad and I have taken 3 bucks out of D13 in about 8-10 years of hunting it when I was a kid...about 25 years ago. We always hunted the same area. I'm anxious to head back in there....if I can find my way back there (LOL) and see how much it has changed...or hasn't. Good luck to you as well.

I do not live on Lockford. However I did some scouting week and half ago and saw a nice 3x. I also came home with something I never had before in this area, a Tick. It was crawling on back of my neck, but I was not bitten. I was talking with a couple of other guys from up here and they thinking this could be a bad year for Ticks. I will be using more precautions next time I go out.

Anyway, good luck and let me know how you do

Chris

Archery D13 starts this Saturday the 7th. I'll be out this year with my new bow. Gonna be hot and humid.

I went out with bow and then for General Deer. Tons of hunters during General Deer and no deer to speak of. Seen three doe on private property. Third year in a row without seeing anything.

Here are two bucks from d13 this year....

Good one, eel. Funny how reincarnation happens a lot on this site. :)

Homie- Not bad for D13'er.
