Jumping Jack Trailers

So.....

Maybe i?m getting old (I am) but have been thinking about replacing my tents with a Jumping Jack Trailer. Not actually replacing them, especially the wall tent. But i?m thinking the ease of setting them up would be sweet especially for early season antelope hunts and 3-4 Day Chukar hunts. I have a 4 seat side by side so i?ll Need the 17? one.

But wanted to hear from anyone that has used the jumping jack.

And what options work well, and which are just gimmicks.

I have no experience with a jumping jack, but had a Coleman tent trailer for a while. Hauled it to Colorado, Idaho and through the woods here. Was a nice little set up. Had to upgrade it though with 3 little ones and the wife unhappy about not being able to easily pack it or clean it. Down the road I plan to get a jumping jack for the same reasons you are considering.

They are awesome!! I Would not buy a new one they are way over priced, saw one on craigslist today in Phoenix for 4K its a 2010, not a bad deal. You can find them cheaper, just have to be patient. I have hauled a Polaris ranger & Polaris quad on the top. They tow great even with the weight on top of them.

Going,
Thanks for the replies on both posts. I'll look used.

State of Jefferson,
We had a Coleman tent trailer when I was a kid. Dad loved how it towed. Had a boat rack and we hauled a 14? mirrorcraft.

I'd love to get a 6X17, cut a hole for a wood stove exhaust, and be toasty in November-January in Nevada hunting Chukar.

But might stick with the Mr Buddy propane units, safer.

Thanks for your replies.

I run a Four Wheel Camper Hawk and a 5x10 utility trailer for my quad. IMO best hunting rig for the way I hunt!! Has a refrig/freezer, stove, sink, hot water heater, forced air furnace, dual batteries, solar panels (on the roof), etc. Last year I hunted Colorado for 17 days straight without coming back to town!! I've had the camper since 2013 and haven't had any issues with it.
