16 NR deer pts

Was spoiled on Book cliffs archery hunt last year. Too many deer.
Are there any hunts in NV that are similar to the Books in deer numbers? Would any one burn this many pts on NV DIY archery hunt ,or stick with the late rifle?

Honestly man, with that many points invested, I think I would stick with a late rifle hunt. Just my opinion.

My experiences Nevada generally doesn't have the deer numbers that you will see in LE units or places like Colorado. It won't be anything like hunting the books... however Nevada produces great bucks. I know it's my favorite state to hunt. Having points deff helps, but doesn't guarantee a tag. Good luck!

It took me 18 to get a late rifle and during my scouting all through summer the best bucks were easy to find and consistent at the water , by the time of the hunt they were on the move and not on a standard pattern anymore.If your ready for extreme heat and nothing but a giant go archery.In 241-245 the rifle with more than 100 tags and land owner tags also, to 5 tag in the archery,In the archery you may not get the monster of your dreams but your going to see him and there will not be any competition.

Helped a 231 hunter with a landowner tag last year which allowed him to hunt archery, muzzy, rifle. If I were to hunt that unit again it would be with archery tackle, no question. The other two seasons did not even compare.
