Harvest quotas

They had the tag quota commission meeting here in Reno on May 5
I'm not sure if they have been finalized yet and I haven't seen anything posted as of now.

I tried attaching a link but couldn't get it to work but if you go to the NDOW website under public meetings and go to public notices they have the proposed tag quotas listed. They normally don't change too much from those proposed numbers.

I was hoping someone would post that up. Keep trying to post that link thanks.
I did hear from my friend who attended the meeting that they were adding five more resident tags to my first choice deer hunt.

Looks like an overall reduction of tags across the board for Elk, Mule Deer and Antelope. 551 tag reduction for Muleys, 50 tag reduction for Antelope and if I read it correctly, over 2,500 tag reduction for Elk (proposed for Fall 2019).

Click here if you want to compare the 2018 quota numbers and proposed 2019 numbers for the units you applied for.

I think I know the answer but to confirm, what happens if there's only one tag left and your number gets pulled and you're a party of two, for deer? Do they skip your application or do they allocate one more tag?

In that case they would skip your party application until they got a single applicant and issued that last remaining tag to him.

They had proposed raising the archery 035 tag from 4 to 10, on the non-resident side, but the commission kept it at 4 Somebody was way off, ?

Thanks for posting the links
I like what I'm seeing and I have a good feeling but of course I always do every year until the reality check sets in on results day.
Good luck to everyone in the draw It's getting close

Thanks for all of the replies.
I drew the 091/box elder non resident utah bull tag and was trying to find out the quota on the new antlerless elk hunt that Nevada added this year. It is right before my season starts and I was hoping it was not too many, but I see it is only five.

I have rifle muzzleloader and archery listed in my five choices
Shoot me a PM if you would like to chat
