Blackhorn 209 Legal in Nv?

Saw an old post back in 2013 about the legality of BH 209 powder as a black powder substitute. NDOW hasn't been clear in the past. I asked a Game Warden a couple of years ago when nephew was going through a hunter ed class and at that time, he said no, but with some reservations....like the jury was still out.

Read a post from Western Powders (makers of BH 209) from 2014 and it mentioned that NDOW was going to make it legal at that time. Kind of runs counter to the convo I had with the GW back about 2.5 years ago or so.

Anyone know for sure?

I went through the same thing a few years ago. I contacted law-enforcement and got it from them. They said just go ahead and use it so that's what we do.
Go ahead and use it you will be fine.

Used it on my hunt in 22 last year, perfectly legal.

I killed a nice bull with it in ?10? then they had it outlawed for 2-3 years (not because of me ?)

Then they legalized it.

It shoots well out of my inline and in Nevada where no scopes are allowed, it makes sense to use the most accurate powder available. I could never get pyrodex or black powder to give me the accuracy and ease of follow-on shots like the 209. I will continue to use it. It's almost like its use is open to interpretation, depending on which official you ask.
