LAST EDITED ON Jul-14-19 AT 04:37PM (MST)[p]Never hunted this unit before but heard of it's potential for seeing fair amounts of deer and having opportunities of harvesting nice bucks. I know guys who hunt goats in this unit and say they see deer mostly up high or down low in the alfalfa. It's about time to head over there and start scouting but I don't really know where to start within those ranges.
The plan is to hunt high and hunt as far out of the way from roads and other folks as possible. Will be backpacking in and doing 1-2 night trips each time but not afraid to really get out there if I need to.
This is a rifle hunt with Oct 5th hunt start.
Any ideas? Any advice and information welcome!
