42 Antelope help

Alright guys I have been keeping my word by helping a ton of other people. Need some back real bad.

The amount of traffic already in 7 troughs is bad and we aren't even to the season yet. Again not going to hunt there. Took a look and the lopes have afterburners strapped to Thier butts as soon as they see dust from a truck or quad. Couldn't even put horns on what I saw they were gone that fast.

Any help from rabbithole, to Rosebud, to the Eugenes would be greatly appreciated. Just found out I lost my party for the first 4 days I'm there. Thanks guys

So you're not interested in hunting 41? When I had that tag I was shocked to see antelope on the very tops of the peaks where you'd expect to find a mule deer buck.

Congrats on a great Antelope, my daughter drew the late tag in 41/42. Have scouted area 41 for a couple days seeing tons of traffic. Have seen Antelope but only one decent buck. Looking for a little direction if possible.

Concentrate the highest peaks above 6500. Have to be in place 30 mins before shoot. Spot as soon as the sun hits the south and east faces. Shoot before anyone starts moving in. Hasn't failed in 23 years.

Once they get spooked, realize the run away pattern. Look for a nearby road in the same direction and a a spring. Always bedded down in the finger draws no one ever looks at next to those springs.

Stay out of the flats!!!
Go opposite the popular areas. So if everyone is rushing up the east side. Go up the west side and wait for them to spook to you.

The one I got no one even saw, they ran right past him 3 times and I took him on the west side. I knew he was there, just waited for the move away from people.

7 troughs is very popular, but people never get too far from Thier quads and they just move one draw over.

Also, the bucks I scouted (12) all fed until 1030. Back to the springs by 4 in the afternoon.
