We will be coming this fall hunting, does anyone know the rules for bring the head and meat back into Idaho. or where to go look?

Tex: http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/ Has all the Regs as well as phone numbers to call and ask your question regarding importing game meat. Some states have a form as well as a $5 fee for the permit.

US Fish and Wildlife is who you will deal with at the border.

The main thing to remember is no brain or spinal cord material. Bone out the meat and boil or scrape all flesh and membrane off the skull plate. Need to have your liscense and tags.

You also need to check with BC on transporting within BC.
