Who is going?

We had a Game Warden check us out this year on our mule deer hunt in West Texas. He volunteered to come up and work this area from his home of Kingsville, TX, which is south of San Antonio. I asked him about the border. His exact words were "the closer you get to the border the more vicious the bad guys are, and the more corrupt our guys are."

There is no way in hades' I'd drive to Mexico. I've heard to many brutal and harrowing stories, one from him. If I ever went back I would fly to Hermosillo, then I'd still be a nervous wreck. No deer in the world is worth it, to me anyway.

Congrat's on an awesome buck..What a year...BIG RISK and a BIG REWARD :) Doesn't get any better than that...I haven't seen many Pics like that one comming out of Old Mexico for a while.

Great buck appleman. That buck looks familiar......I've seen a pic of that buck alive somewhere. Have you seen it?

Fortis-He has somewhat of the look of that big one you took a couple years ago. As for live shots I have seen a trail cam shot of him and that is one reason I held out for only him. The cam shot I saw wasnt real great but I still dreamed about him. I was real lucky to find him at all as he was miles out on the thick flat stuff=either luck or persistence??

well we made it in and out safe, no real issues except their right hand not talking to their left down there.

Went 6 for 6 with all reall nice bucks in 3 days.

NV you guys will slay some big ones.
