The only difference I see is this time at least Trump is giving lip service to paying off the debt. He says he wants it.

Trump seems to genuinely want to reduce the debt and often talks about it and has made some huge reductions. Trump is the only one saying lets cut Big Bird and let the private TV stations put it on. Trump is the only one....

I agree entirely that Congress is chitting away their last real chance to reign in the debt before we drive off a friggin cliff. It is coming. If it doesnt happen under Trump all conservatives will be disenfranchised and the dems will grab power again...and it will get worse...and the system will be bursting at the seams.

How many times of I said I don't want any more debt? :) When the guy is delivering for the first time on 99 issues and use it and if it's the one it makes you look like a negative Nancy. I don't like the day you don't like that we don't like the debt but why do you lose focus on the other 99 issues. Is it possible that we get to the debt next year?
