With the big game season under way in many states and presumably many stories to follow, I thought this might be helpful....

STALK
? a hunt for game carried on by following it stealthily or waiting in ambush

STOCK
? the merchandise that a shop has on hand
? the capital raised by a corporation through the issue of shares entitling holders to an ownership interest
? the handle of a handgun or the butt end of a rifle or shotgun or part of the support of a machine gun or artillery gun
? liquid in which meat and vegetables are simmered
? a plant or stem
 
ROFL.....Good stuff Feleno!!!! Now what about the other kind of "stalk"??? The one with ears on it......I'm sure there will be some bucks coming outta the cornfields here soon too.

And don't be interrupting when their telling there story over they're. Sometimes its hard to here over hear. Your not being very respectful to you're friends. Sometimes it better to except the story as true, accept when its obvious the person is lying.

Now if we could just these guys to quit using "seen"......I seen about 10 deer last night.

The word is saw, I saw 10 deer.
 
Many bare that our baited could be said to be stalked with food. While some hunters just like to stock there bare and some just stock all there pray!

It's amazing how many of us didn't pay attention in English class isn't it.

How about the "incredibly knowledgeable" gas station clerk at 00-dark-thirty in the morning that must secretly be a pro bowhunting guide and offers his unsolicited advice when he sees you walk in wearing camo and says...."if you really want to kill a bull with your bow you should go up on such & such ridge and just POST UP right there in the aspens....you will catch an elk for sure right there." Had a guy say that to me this season here in CO........who the f#$% says "post up" anyway? Good thing I bumped in to him or there's no way we woulda had any chance at all to catch a bull.

A few weeks ago I watched an outdoor television show where the participants were bow hunting for elk. They made several attempts before they were successful and each was labeled with an on-screen tag saying:

"Stock #1"
"Stock #2" etc.

I used to teach a university journalism class that was required by all communications students. Sometimes the broadcast students would complain that they should not be graded on spelling because their reports were presented on camera and not in print. So I chuckle every time I see a graphic with misspelled words on a news report. It happens frequently.

Well I red in the paper today or did eye here it on the radio, that Utah's rifle dear season opened today. I got thinking how different it is from the bow season. The to our not very similar in most weighs.

When ewe bow hunt, ewe have too learn to bee moore quite than won does when with a rifle. Eye think it is easier to shoot a dear with a gun, butt I no many will disagree. Aisle tell you an easy weigh to boar site your're rifle in. Know eye won't, cause if eye did ewe wood all go out an kill two many bucks.

Won thing that is similar with the bow and the rifle is the fact that the too methods use rode hunting a lot. But if you rode hunt ewe have two bee sure too knot shoot across the rode. Won has to remember if he gets a deer or too, two bee sure to hang it hi so a bare can't get it.

Asile tell you this, sew won of ewe guys who use that cent stuff doesn't waiste a scent on it. It does not work.

If ewe want the write stuff bee sure too reed what eye right and then ewe will no.

Eye don't want two boar ewe so buy!
