Congrats to the hunters. What a great way to start the competition.

Here's what Emmett's dad posted on VIPOptics.com Facebook Page, "Emmett's first coyote, central utah. 100 yards, coming in hard. He was a mature dog, though in the photo he looks small, he had big teeth and weighed 30 lbs on the taxidermists scale. He will make a nice tube. I was proud to share my sons first song dog, and I will always remember it. Love you, buddy."

Good Luck this weekend. Feel free to post the pictures up here or send them to [email protected].

I've heard that late season calling can be a little more challenging, but there are some very talented hunters on here. Can't wait to see the pics. Remember to bring a dollar for the pic.

4x4muley. Great job on taking out this coyote! We have added your name to the drawing.

This is what 4x4 Muley wrote... "Shot this coyote about 10 minutes too late. Her and another one had just killed this mule deer just minutes before I arrived to call. The entrails were still steaming, the eyballs and nose were still warm with a temperature of -6 degrees.."
