The Scene -- Day 3 on a 4th season hunt in Colorado in an average unit you burned 10 points on.

You've got 15 seconds to make a decision. No messing around. If you're shooting, you've got to get it done. Do you take him? Or pass hoping to do better.

Boom

?Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. "

I know so many people in so many places
They make allot of money but they got sad faces

It Ain't Easy being Me!:D:D:D

I really try hard to never make rush decisions...I would pass but only because I would want to look him over and make an educated decision. A lot goes into making an informed decision

On a fourth season hunt in Colorado that takes 10 points to draw?
I assume he means 10 nonresident points.
Is this some sort of survey as to what trophy hunting in Colorado is becoming?
I suppose considering some of these new proposed tag increases that may be a shooter buck on a fourth season hunt in the near future.
Not for me. I would never consider shooting that buck even on the last minute of the last day.

Noop - too thin for me

No sir. I can tell you in about 5-6 seconds. Too young and a bit too spindly on his rack. Width is deceptive from behind too but not too bad, just too much of a pencil rack and no kickers to boot

If I had good knowledge of the area, knew there were much better bucks in the area, or was with an outfitter, no.

If it was a DIY without much knowledge and/or scouting, and considering he's bigger than any mulie I've killed, then yes.

A trophy depends on your point of view. Someone who has never taken a mulie vs. someone with multiple 190" deer on the wall will likely have different interpretations of what is a trophy.
