Will this finally keep you out of Dicks or do they need to team up with PETA too?

Happily, I've never spent a dime in Dicks. I only went in the store once and that was enough to tell me they weren't a real sporting goods store.

It's interesting to me that he says the AR had it's genesis in war. That's true I guess. No different than the Springfields, Enfields, Mausers, Krags, etc, etc. Are they different? Only until they aren't.

To people like dude & others that are SKEERED of them, they are different!

We are getting out-numbered by the other types at an alarming rate!

As I've said forever:

FOOT IN THE F'N DOOR!

I know so many people in so many places
They make allot of money but they got sad faces

It Ain't Easy being Me!:D:D:D

Sports had it's genesis in war as well. It was a way for the Greeks to train and stay fit for it.

Ever heard of the Battle of Marathon?

What a hypocrite...

i actually bought a bike from them. other than that zip. i bet that they are not around to long. they kind of remind me of the sports authority except i like them a lot less.

I think I walked through the Dicks at the Gateway in SLC one time to get to the other side of the center. I know I've never bought anything there. So I didn't need to change any behavior over this one.

This is the great thing about America and freedom. Dicks can decide for itself what business model if wants to have and what customer base they want to appeal to. And customers can decide to support them or not based upon those decisions. Freedom is a beautiful thing!

I can' stand #####'s as I went to buy my son a new Ruger 22 for Christmas and I made the mistake of saying it was a Christmas present. They told me they would not sell me the gun for my son.

What kind of crap is this you can't buy your own son a gun. I haven't stepped foot in one of those stores since.

With a name like ##### what else should we expect.

or Dickheads more like it.

just sayin

Sportman's Warehouse, and any FFL for that matter, will tell you the same thing. There is a question on the background check form that asks if the purchase is for you, the buyer...

They can't lose my business because they never had it in the first place...and never will.

I'm not even sure if there's a #####'s in Wyoming. Maybe in Casper. Never been there and don't have any desire to go.

But now I never will............

All of the gun control and AR crap aside... #####'s is just flat out a horrible store to begin with. Employees don't know anything about the departments they work in, you cannot get out of the building without going through the registers, they are overprices with just about everything they have and their selection is spotty at best.

#####'s will not go out of business because people like us have an issue with their gun control ideology., they will go out of business because they don't offer anything good to an average consumer.

I went into one of their stores long ago. It was rediculous. They didn't have much for guns or hunting. I bought nothing and have never been back. This was long before their stand on firearms. I hope they go out of business and I'm sure they will. The market is pretty much flooded with brick and mortar sporting goods stores.

Good to know. That means the idiot at Sportsman's didn't know what they were doing. I went with my sister-in-law for her to buy a rifle for my brother for a Christmas present and they said 'NO!'...
