Sent my Bino's in last week and just a letter saying it would be 6 to 8 weeks. Anybody get a quicker turn around than that???

Used Swarovski services in the USA on a pair of Kahles Binoculars. Didn't hear anything for weeks. After my inquiry, they wanted nearly half the original cost of the binoculars to repair them. Stick with companies that stand behind their products. Leupold, Vortex, Maven. just sayin...mh

Hey Treed,
If you don't have them back before you need to leave, hit me up and I'll let you take mine!
Nothing worse than planning a trip to look for sheep and not having the right glass! :)

Hope it does not come to that....LOL....appreciate the offer.

I called during the summer two years ago, when they would not be super busy, and asked about a factory cleaning and inspection under warranty. The lady on the phone was pleasant and said of course they would. I sent my original pair of 20 year old 8x30 SLC WB in, and 10 days later I received a call from their service group saying I obviously used my binos a lot, and the lenses were extremely scratched due to the amount I carried them.

They asked my permission to replace all the lenses, repair the worn body, and change out the old style eye cups for the new upgraded twist out ones. They apologized that the lenses would not be covered by warranty due to use, but the cost would only be $135 to my door.

I tripped all over myself saying "Heck Ya", and I got basically a new set of glasses out of the deal. They have my vote for excellent service!!!

Most guys are sending them in for a free cleaning or refresh. Not actually warranty issues. Swarovski has amazing customer service and has my business for life.

Sent my 12x50 EL?s in April 17th and just got them back today. They look brand new and was charged nothing.

Every email I sent regarding my warranty had a friendly response within 24 hrs.

Swarovski is a one time investment on the best glass available.

I don't recall how long my swaro's were in the shop being repaired.

I was on a deer hunt in SE Montana and IIRC, my swaro slc's were about 3 years old at the time.

One side fogged on the inside and I had a single bar of cell coverage where I was. I called swaro repair on the east coast and told them what happened.

The gal I talked to asked for the serial number on my binoculars and while I was on the phone looked up an address at the nearest town where I was hunting. She found a local business, called them on another line, and sent a new pair of EL's, overnight fedex to that business. I went in the next morning at 10 AM and picked up the loaner pair, finished that hunt. Got home sent mine in for repairs, kept the EL's until the hunting season was over. A while later, mine showed up, boxed up the loaner pair of EL's and everything was right with the world.

Maybe its about how people approach the company with their problem...but I was pretty impressed with how that all happened. Cost me a day of glassing with a monocular and a morning hunt waiting on fed ex.

But, it all worked out:

Swaro will have my binocular business...

I have 3 pairs of swaro binos and 2 spotters and 1 vortex bino and 1 rifle scope. I have to send the vortex back every year for something. Ive sent 2 things EVER back to swaro in over 15 years. 1 I dropped and broke lens 1 for cleaning.

Everything I own is Swarovski.
I dropped my Long distance Binos in New Mexico one year. I stood on the side of the road in shock.nothing ruins a hunt faster that broke Binoculars when you are looking at Big Mountains.
I called Swarovski and they said the same thing.?What town are you close to??
It was a 3 hour drive but The next morning I had working glass.
After the hunt I sent both pairs back to them.
Treed don't need Binos anyway.
The guys he has to help him are much better glasses than he is.?

Sent back a pair of 18 year old 8x's for cleaning. Four weeks later I received them back, looked better than the day I bought them.
They enclosed a note that they had to polish the glass do to heavy use. Would note consider anything else.

As usual Fullcry is over estimating his ability's. He is just jealous of me drawing and filling tags he only dreams about.

Got my Binos back yesterday, As good as new.
