A lot of mass and good cheaters, but a little on the small side overall. Give him another year or two to grow.

Deer with that many cheaters are rare. The only way that buck would get another year from me is if I found something larger. If more scouting didn't turn up anything bigger, Ide be set up on him opening morning.

You are right, you had better take him if you get a chance. He's about as big as they get nowadays.

40-50 years ago, when I first hunted in Wyoming, we would always see a buck or two each year that would make him look small. The trouble is that they wouldn't show themselves until just before dark and they would be too far away to close the distance in time for a shot. So we never got anything over 32" wide.
 
Yeah that's a modern day monster for sure. If I had a tag for where he's at he would definitely be on my radar
 
I know. I had left my camera with my backpack, so had to try and hold my phone up.

Looks like he broke the long cheater off of his left side.

It'll be interesting to see if I see him again this year and if he's any better. He was the one I wanted to hunt last year, but then I shot that other buck with my bow. I'm excited to get back up and see what he looks like.

Looks like everyone took my advice from my Aug 24 post and let him grow another year. Maybe he will be a "big" buck this year if he survived the winter and if anyone can find him again.
