My Girl's Deer

I had to go deer hunt with my daughter this noon. This is her 4th buck, not her biggest, but not too shabby . Been out a few times this year and has been very slow. This one came into the field at 120 yards. Rem. 243. The kid doesn't miss. I am so proud of her.

I would love to share a picture but I still find it difficult to post a picture on here.

Curious where you are hunting. The US deer are not hard horned this time of year.

I am in new Zealand with my family at the moment for a vacation. I am leaving tomorrow anyway. My vacation is over LOL.
Their rut also coincides with the red stag going from late may through the end of April. These small spotted deer are very aggressive LOL and have a very high pitched squeal during the rut

I think by "weird" he is trying to figure out where in the country you can get a tag for and find a hard horned whitetail in April......

It's so awesome to see one of your kids harvest an animal, but for some reason I get an even bigger kick out of it when it is my daughter. Not that I'm prejudice it just seems like the girls aren't quite as well represented in the hunting field, although the tide is certainly turning a bit in that regard.

I think it's weird that you wouldn't return someone?s money that you kept when you knew the rifle was never sent. I really hope your daughter does better in life and doesn't take after a dishonest father. Let's hope and pray!

Pretty sure this is not his daughter, just some photo off of the internet! Are there whitetails in New Zealand that people can hunt....pretty sure he is a Scam artist!

It was creepy from day one

You're correct Homer.

This was just the first time I read it so it got creepy for me in a hurry!

I tried to buy a 4-wheeler from a guy like that.....but by luck, I had enough sense not to send money but it'll probably happen to me sometime.

Well if it's not his daughter, hopefully the ?Real? dad sees it, tracks him down, and gives him a solid knuckle sandwich for lunch!

There are whitetail in New Zealand and yes they would be hard horned in April.

Reading the post in classified I see why this one went south.

Way to really bust this dude!

Read that story, crazy story.

It was her first time shooting a 44 magnum carbine with a 220 grain hollow point! I am assuming that would kick hard, maybe it was a reduced load?
