Antler Hunt Adventure

I don't know if this would be of any interest, or qualify as a "hunting" adventure, but here goes:
This year I was not able to do much "horn hunting",as Nevada passed a new law, making it illegal to hunt sheds until after May first. When I did head out, I wasn't really sure where to start. I decided to go into an old chaining where there was a guzzler, and where I'd seen two nice bucks in November (fat chance of finding sheds in a 3k acre area). Several hundred yards below the guzzler and in a particularly thick part of the wash, I paused to get a drink, looked around, and there was a brown left side elk antler propped against some brush! After loading onto my packframe, I decided to backtrack up the wash, but was unsuccessful in finding anything. So I continued down the wash and encountered another antler. Because of some genetic anomalies (both sides lack G-2 tines, and the set is a 6x4), I wasn't so sure I'd found a set. But upon examination and the location, I'm pretty confident it is a match! Antler hunting, for me, ALWAYS an adventure! :)
