It is cool to see the different genetics. I have no clue how many bears there are this year because most of them have it. Some more pronounced than others. Both of these had it, the bigger bear was a lot brighter and thicker. Don't think we have seen one color phase here this year.

Great job! You must be in North Idaho, here in South Central Idaho I see far more color bears than black ones. Is that the case there? More black?

Ya I'm in the panhandle. It is just this bait site that I haven't seen anything but black with a white chest patch. I get lots of color up here usually. Got about as blond a bear as you'll see few years ago.
