Biologist: "chuckling" "you won't see a 160 class deer, this area area just doesn't have em.

Dad: hold my beer.

Mine was a small buck but Dad and I pulled a double on the opening day of deer season in an area supposedly with no deer and infested with hunters. We had the mountain to ourselves and saw quite a few deer. 8 bucks in one day during scouting. We did however put in 10+ miles from the time we left the trucks at dark to the time we brought meat back, about 15 minutes before dark. Long day but that's why we do it. Eat well friends!

Nice bucks and with your Dad all the better

Yeah I love when people say that a spot sucks or there’s no deer in the area they’re usually the ones that road hunt or stay in camp but a biologist ? great job proving them wrong

Give the biologist a break , he deals with folks that usually don't put in the effort.
Well done sir ! I know you worked for it.

Just busting some chops. The game wardens and biologists have been excellent to deal with. They return your calls, answer your questions and are very informative.

I would however contact them before season as their workloads get heavy once season opens.

Sorry my tongue in cheek was directed at Muleman but in jest as well.
Interested in hearing about the Hammer bullets too, been considering them for my 300wsm, Sako.
