Thought i would give these a shot this year. I got 4 of the small. Wife and i used them in combination with a MR Cabinet and MR popup 28. Like them, recommend them, and i will buy a few more for my boys in their packs. We debone everything, and used them this season on 2 bulls and 2 muley bucks. Definitely give them a thumbs up if someone is on the fence on getting some to try.

4 small fit a boned out bull?
No, i had my old game bags as well and my boys were with us, so they packed as well. I packed them kinda light. I personally went with small only due to as you get them bigger they get longer. I thought the smalls when full would fit in my packs well. Which they did. Definitely worth getting, even if a person opts for the bigger size. Great material. Strong as ****.

I have used them a lot, they are light weight, strong and I really like the small zippered bags for back straps. They clean up real nice in the washer machine

I may check them out. Been using the caribou bags for years. I think they used to be called BOMB bags or something. This was well as the Kifaru meat baggies which are probably my favorite

The caribou bags are very nice also. Worked great on my buddies elk this year. I like the zippered Kuiu bags for loose meat and deboned meat. Also the shape fits well in the load sling of my pack and also the main bag.

They look line a really good shape for packing. That’s why I like the Kifaru meat bags so much. I debone everything

Bomb bags are a different brand. Caribou bags ripped off the design of TAG bags. BOMB bags are made by tag bags.

Also what is an advantage of a zippered game bag? It just seems like something that will be more prone to breaking or getting stuck?

I don’t know if there’s an advantage. Maybe able to load it and have it keep its shape better? I like having my Kifaru meat baggies stuffed to a nice uniform shape to go side by side vertical in my pack.

but your probably right. One more thing to break

Zippers are not the selling point to me, easy convenience i guess, (til they break). But that's pure speculation.. selling point for me is their size and the way they have been sewn. The more you put in them their shape is more evident and condusive to fitting amongst the framework and bags of current load hauling packs. They are pretty sweet.

Your post made me look at them a little more. I agree I like how they form so it isn’t a big blob.

How many seasons have you used them? Or have they just been released? I’ve been using tag bags for 15 years and no complaints but might have to pick up some of these.
