So I was thinking about my trophy room and wondering, how many mule deer mounts do others have hanging in their house, garage, man cave, etc.
So what say you?

Feel free to share photos of your favorite or the whole mess of them. That's always fun to see.

I’ve been up to a dozen or so shoulder mounts but I’ve cut back to just 5 now. I removed the antlers off the other ones and made chandeliers or mounted them on Plaques.
I doubt I will be doing any more shoulder mounts.
Lately I have been doing euros. I really think the euros are cool and I actually now prefer them over shoulder mounts

Wasn’t thinking and I answered 5 for total deer mounts, but it’s actually 4 with one of them being a hybrid and then one blacktail.

14 mule deer shoulder mounts in my house plus two at the taxidermist and 13 euros. Six elk, four antelope, two whitetail, a mallard, two turkey fans/beards, and a blue marlin.

Here's a pic of my living room. The rest are spread throughout the house. My two boys (4 and 6) wanted some in their rooms so one got three deer and one got an elk and a deer.

Congratulations!! And a partridge in a pear tree... very cool!

I have 5 mule deer shoulder mounts, 2 verminous whitetails, one antelope and zero elk. I have 13 sets of antlers in my gun shop. And a whole shed full of what I call "rafter bucks" that I shot mostly years ago. I always like seeing the great trophy rooms of the MM crew.

Very nicely done, and a nice collection as well!

I have two shoulder mounts. One in the garage and one in the house. I promised my wife that I won't mount any more unless it's bigger than anything I've got yet. I also have 4 or 5 euro mounts.

I have a blacktail whitetail and I have about 15 euro's waiting for that big Muley to mount then I am done. I'm getting too old to hunt for Sitka blacktails and Coues but when I was young I always wanted to have one of each.
Also they have to be BIG for me to mount them, also too expensive I would rather spend that money on another hunt.........

I absolutely love euro/skull mounts. Not a big fan of shoulder mounts. They collect dust, fall off walls and break, and are a nightmare to move from one house to the next. One day when I get a chance to hunt sheep it'll be a skull mount too, which will likely blow a lot of people's minds!

I probably won't have anymore except the very biggest mounted. I'm good with just the euro/skull. Fun to pick up some times too. Can't do that with the mount on the wall. I probably wouldn't have had the last 3 mounted if my wife didn't talk me into it.
If I ever move, I now have to take into consideration what to do with 20 mounts.

My one mulie mount fell off wall and shattered. We had a 2x4 stud crack which allowed mount to fall. Looking for a larger buck to fill that spot. Good thing I don’t need a monster just a solid buck. Came close last year but decided not to mount him.

No muley shoulder mounts. I have 2 muley horn mounts along with over 50 whitetail, elk, pronghorn, nilgai, duck, geese mounts of some sorts (shoulder, euro, horn). The older I get I'm shifting more away from shoulder mounts at least for the species I already have shoulder mounted.

I have 2 booners mounted in the house..15 mounted on plaques in the garage and 7 mounted on my archway over my drive-way..Been hunting Mulies for over 50 years now..
Back in the day we could get half a dozen or so a year if we hunted enough states!
