This would've probably been better as a three nighter than a two but it was a nice getaway nonetheless. I'm grateful my fam is still willing to pick up and go on these whims after all these years. (Now if I could just get them to spend more time rowing the gear boat I'd be set!)

This was roughly a 45 mile trip from Cisco to Moab, pretty mellow but absolutely no one there but us until we got to the Moab daily section

We're running the Moab-Lake Powell section (Cataract canyon) in a few weeks so this was a nice tune-up too.

That stretch of the river is pretty cool. Some tall rocks there on the north side of the La Sal’s.

Whats with the covered faces? Bugs? I used to like rowing the support boat because you were u all alone.

lol, no there weren't really any bugs (which surprised me a little).

the twins have been on a river trip for 4 of their last 5 birthdays and this is a long running inside joke. it normally involves two pair of tiny hands but they forgot them this year.

Man what a cool trip. Knowing me I would've brought the jet ski towing a rubber raft full of beer and a sleeping bag. But what fun would that be in such an awesome canyon.
