Best deer hunt

Just curious what thoughts are on the best unit for deer for a non-resident with 9 points?
I know it could be a ugly year for the deer, but I might give it a go anyway.

Well steiny, I like your style.

Way too many guys could/should have drawn tags for several species in Wyoming but they ASSumed things would never change (winterkill, disease, tag allocation, prices, economy, hunter's age and/or health etc).

I took a different approach. I actually APPLIED in non-top-tier units and then drew great tags, as soon as I could, and have wonderful trophies and memories for my efforts.

Yessir, pick a hunt and go have fun if you can pop a tag!

Zeke

PS: I followed my own advice for everything but deer. Here I sit on a pile of points and don't yet know what to do ....so I supposed I'm no better than the next guy.

Wait another month and you should have a better idea. The winter out there is far from done...

Zeke,
Thank you and yes, I'm thinking out of the box on that as well.
Trophy is in the eye of the beholder! Even though a monster is on everyone's mind when we head into the field.

H might be better than G this year the way the snow is falling. That southwest corner of the state is going to be in rough shape. A lot less roads to cross and huge winter range for much of H compared to G.
