New to the forum here, was fortunate to draw an X9a tag this year with 4.5 points. Was wondering if anyone could point me in a general direction or recommend a general area. Going up scouting in a couple weeks and then planning on being there for opener.

Got a call into biologist waiting to hear back from him, I'll ask him about the deer herd.

Anybody get drawn for X9a this year ? A group of 4 of us got drawn with 4.5 points. Heading up opening weekend since the quota was cut by more than half hopefully not to many people will be up. Anybody have any info how the herd are doing after the hard winter?
