I have Pete Vigil at 505outfitters a couple of times and was very happy. They are very easy to deal with. Have not drawn yet but thats what happens when you swing for the fence on your applications.

Did this hunt with a buddy January of 2021. We used James Whitman and it was great. We had to deal with covid issues within the village and a long whether delay to get out to the field, but other than that the hunt was fabulous and I couldn’t recommend James more. Ben

I have no problem with this, its no different than the hunts that take place outside Estes and other National parks, if the animal wanders off its fair game there and anywhere else.

Went great. Elected to get flown by Rod Schuh who was fantastic. Weather held us up a bit and made it out October 1, harvested my bear on October 3. Didn’t ever get an official hide measurement but 28.5 on the skull.

Out of myself and 7 buddies who applied for big game combo’s, only 1 was drawn. Apparently everyone is ready to go hunting.

Did you do the guided option or just have him drop you? I am always a bit nervous getting dropped off by someone who I assume will be saving his premier spots for his guided clients (understandably)
