I am drawn more towards deep forks, square frames (if that makes sense), and long main beams which this buck has all 3. If the left buck had bigger front forks then I'd have a tougher time making the decision.

Finding big bucks has been a bit tough for me this summer but found these two last night and think I might target the buck on the right if I can't track down any of my target bucks from last year. I think this is the buck on the right from last year (taken late July)

I stumbled upon this real nice typical on the 31st (eve of the archery opener for those with draw tags) bedded in a canola field. I unfortunately have to wait until the 15th to use my over the counter tag so I am hoping this guy is still around.
