I think it takes at least 1 point as a NR. I have hunted elk in the area and last year saw 1 legal 3 point buck on the last day of deer season while I was scouting for elk. I know 15 years ago or so the deer were thick in there. I am sure there are deer around I just haven't hunted them since...

We went to area 46 last year and had Simpson Ridge HMA slips. There were 5 of us and we ended up taking all our bucks off of BLM land that touched roads. Seemed like last year there were more animals on the other HMA, I think it is Medicine Bow River. We also took 3 does and could have filled...

We are stuck in Sidney waiting for I-80 to re-open to get to Laramie. Alerts that Wydot are sending show that roads are starting to open. Hope we can get to where we are staying today.

My son filled a tag during the youth hunt in MI but my daughter did not get a chance. My group leaves for WY for a week of antelope hunting on October 4th. We can't hunt until the 8th and we are looking to spend some time fishing and relaxing before the hunt. Cannot wait to get out of town.

I worked a gun show as security and someone had a booth with them. I think it was $100 for a 9mm and someone bought one and supposedly walked out the door and by the time he opened the case the sights had fallen off. I have never been impressed by them.

There is a lot of private land in 45. I used an outfitter and shot a decent buck in 03. I saw signs that there were trespass fee would gain you entry but I never checked on them. Xbar ranch was a good looking place for archery though. Good Luck
