Try up 140 around Wassom Canyon. You should find some herds up there with the snow right now. They hunker down in there this time of year and we've been successful each time we have had the cow tag in there. Good Luck!

Headed over for some early scouting and wanted to spend a bunch of time on the Alvord side. My buddies had success last year in Wildhorse Canyon, but any and all info is great. My dad will be 70 and we'd enjoy finding a quality buck for him this year. Thanks!!!

You'll run into all sorts of elk up around the back of C2 during November. Lots of elk back there above the ranch and sometimes the ranch will let kids harvest an elk with permission. Just need to ask them as they are big into helping kids. Good Luck!!

Call the ODFW guy. He had some ideas the last few years, but the elk are few and far between. If you can get up high and glass for awhile you will have your best bet. I got into two herds up on Yainax Butte. Good luck!!

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully we can get away from some people, but the concern would be anyone with horses of course. We are using leg power, haha.
