buddy stopped by a place that sells powder and bought a 5 pounder of RL19 for 300 bucks. Said RL 26 was 83 a pound and had a 8 pounder for , I think he said 640.
Out at the range yesterday and was told gunpowder is gonna go up, roughly 10 bucks a pound.....By me 1lb is around 50, Now. Time to get a few extra lbs... ce61

Anyone have one ? Buddy was sighting a 30/30 in with 170 grain factory loads and it shot poor. Was wondering if a lighter 150 bullet might shoot better? thanks for any input. ce61

Never had much luck with 69 smk, had good luck with 60 Gr. vmax and benchmark. Also have had good luck with the 77 smk and it seems like with those, your gun will like the hollow point or the plastic tipped ones , always seems to shoot one better than the other, depending on the rifle. RL 15...
good choice of cartridge, I have been shooting a 6BR for years and the BRA version, like the dasher and BRX, are very accurate and really don't give up much, if any, speed to the larger case 243 and 6mm creedmoor, and use alot less powder .. ce61
