I would say that X9a is the closest premium zone, but it is not close to Mt. Pinos area where I live. The closest is X10 and next X9b.

I have 11, but not sure where to spend them is the big dilemma for me. I do archery and would like to try that, however, the hunts are all so early. No easy choices for someone not experienced in Northern areas.

I was surprised to see X9a now at 9 points to draw? Zone is only a shadow of itself from what I hear?

Maybe they should limit tags in some D zones and not allow one tag to hunt multiple zones, for starters.

No problem, I think it is important to share such information and we all should whenever we see something like this. It is most often these groups that are causing the problems with their constant lawsuits.

People who have tags for d11 and d15 can hunt there as well. Those three zones are bread and butter for DFG

Only hunted 4 different, dismal zones, so I cant help. I will say that I live in and hunt primarily d13, which I will say, just might be the worst zone in all of CA.
