Killed a few with a 25-06 and the wife has gotten several with a 243 good bullets and shot placement

You should find one and probably a decent one you just won’t see a ton of animals like you would have just a few years ago they gave out way to many doe tags and the winter gottem bad last year

Just go do it my wife refused ends up with a tumor after several horrible surgeries she is cancer free but the other issues are not fun just go do it
