Hunted unit 16 late deer. Guess someone didn't want the tag so I got it as an alternate. All the herds of does that were over a mile from roads had a herd buck rutting does. The more remote, the more action. The buck I shot had 15 does and wasn?t leaving them. This was nov 3 and earlier.

Son's first Buck. Two shooters were trying to slip out. He had one shot and he made it count! Off the cliff it came sliding through the snow.

Hey Son, hunted that unit on 3 different tags. Only once the last week of october. Tons of access and tons of public land. The wilderness is pretty rugged on Jefferson and Table isn't all that bad. Easy access on both and not all that remote in my opinion other than being a long ways away...

i was there friday. Drove right down to the ice. a little bit of old snow that had drifted but mostly dry. sunday it snowed a couple of inches but wild blew it mostly away. Here is a pic
