Like new Zeiss Harpia 95mm with 23x70 zoom eyepiece, Revic RS-532c tripod and Manfrotto 700RC2 fluid head. paid over 5k for this set up less than a year ago.

The wildlife board should manage the Deer heard and the amount of tags given, not the equipment that is being used. Bottom line is if they give 1000 Buck tags on any given unit they are allowing for 1000 deer to get killed.

So if a trail camera is left for 16 days it is considered abandoned and free for anyone to take ?

How can the DWR take them if they are just getting photos not hunting? That would be theft on the DWR right?

People will always push the limits on the range they can effectively shoot, it doesn't matter if they have a scope or not. Even if some can shoot 60+ yards with Archery equipment bottom line is they still have to get within 100 yds. of the animal and most likely the animal will sense them and...
