Had my first day of actual hunting! It felt good to get out there. Didn't see as many deer as I had hoped for, but still came across a nice 3X3. I put a stalk on him and got inside 50 yards then had the wind witch and I got busted. Bummer, but planning on getting back out there soon.

Been pretty busy lately so I haven't had a lot of time to do as much scouting as I would like, but I'm still getting some practice in when I can.

I shoot the G5 striker. I just sen to like fixed blades more than the mechanicals. Ive gotten a few deer with the striker and have had no problems what so ever. Never hunted anything bigger like elk or anything with them though.
