Combining points is messed up. Making you pick one type deer tag to gain a point in each year would be ok.

They removed hunts, but they should have left the rows with hunts deleted or added in and had 0 in the appropriate column if trying to show differences between 23 approved and 24 recommended. The totals don't all match columns totals as in the document.

New Mexico banned scopes on muzzleloaders last year. It's a reasonable guess to assume the muzzleloader application change last year in New Mexico (not a lot) will be similar to this year in Utah.

The agenda says mammal regulations are set today. I'm not sure how long it will take for updated quotas to be posted to the web or if/when the application book will be updated. I'll wait on knowing the approved quotas to apply.

Points are fine for hunts that roll over in a reasonable amount of time, like most CA deer hunts. They are unfair for hunts that point levels over due to old age and death, locking out most for any chance at points tags until they outlive those ahead of them. Sheep and elk should probably be...
