    Colorado Governor's tag buck.

Came across this one and couldn't help but think that guys like ColoradoBoy are why Mossback etc hasn't really taken up Colorado in more recent years. They're here, but you don't see @mossbackcolorado for a reason other than legal. This isn't the first time we've seen him involved in a State tag...

    Unit 63 Muzzleloader Deer

There's a reason that tag is on the leftover list. Great tag if you can learn the unit. I'd say use this year as a learning experience to grow on for a future tag. If you get lucky and slosh into a bigun count your lucky stars and go back the next year. More than likely though you'll glass till...

Any idea on score on this buck?

Struggled to come up with 180" with this deer on the hoof last year and passed during the archery hunt. Buddy notched his rifle tag on him later on and he got the tape to 182". My guess is that with the extras and the mains he'll gross 180+. Only one way to find out that I know of.

    Mule Deer Counties

nripepi - I imagine developing a z-score wouldn't be too hard if you charted the buck to doe ratio for every county and found the mean. At that point it's just a statistical math problem.

    20 Years in Business!!

Found you in 2006 as a junior enlisted Marine stationed in Japan. Had missed 2 seasons at that point and the community was (still is) fun to live vicariously through when I couldn't be out there myself. Good work and thanks. Congratulations on 20!

    Mule Deer Counties

Interesting topic where I imagine the only quantifiable data you're going to find is Boone & Crockett along with Pope & Young. You should be able to find the counties producing the fewest entries and there's your answer in the most scientific manner possible. However, there are many side notes...

since deadline is past, post what you applied for

Sheep, Moose, and goat just for grins cause who knows right? I'll draw my rifle elk tag to go with dad and a buddy. Should draw my muzzy antelope with a couple buddies. Got a shot with 1 point for the rifle bear tag, but not holding my breath which means leftovers again. Just got a PP for deer...

    Reissued Year

The 60 day drying period is up so we went and had the buck officially scored yesterday. I say we because my buddy Lionel got his crate back from Africa with all his goodies. So we took Valentine's Day off and had ourselves a Bro Date for the ages. We had originally green rough scored the buck at...

    Reissued Year

Once I had the encounter with that really nice buck I figured it was time to get serious. By that I mean I started getting in contact with my landowners. Spent a Saturday feeding cattle, doing some electrical work, drinking coffee and generally just getting caught back up with everyone. I even...

    Reissued Year

http://www.monstermuleys.info/photos/user_photos_2018/86496img20181022185417471.jpg I took that sunrise photo on Sunday October, 21. The very next day I took off work early with the plan to go to the gym, get in a glassing session and back to the office to finish my day off. On my way back...

    Reissued Year

Spent the rest of that week hunting both morning and evening for him. Saw him once in the creek bottom that I had gotten permission on the edge of. With the sun shining through the leaves that were still green and the hue shining off him I named him the Jolly Green Giant as he was HUGE! The only...

    Reissued Year

The next day came and went with no sightings. Or the next day, or the day after that. It took a full week to relocate him as the rut had kicked in and they were all cruising looking for hot does. Eventually I relocated him about a mile from where I had seen him the night before my season opened...
