Rabbit slyer - how was your hunt last year?

My 13 year old son was fortunate enough to draw one of the secondary tags for the subject area and hunt. Right now were looking at going the last 5 days of the hunt and staying in Gunnison. Looking for some places to look from past hunters. Were not afraid to get off the road and hunt hard...

Reaching out to see if anyone on here has hunted the subject unit in the last few years. I haven't been down there elk hunting in quite a few years personally and was thinking about possibly burning my points on the new mid-season hunt and turn the tag over to my 13 year old son if I drew.
