    Paunsagaunt rifle deer

Hunted it with my dad a couple years ago. Small bucks, small bucks. Then magically, (near the end of the hunt) big bucks, big bucks. Just be patient and keep going over the same stuff. They will show.

    CA Antelope. 56 Year Wait...

Sometimes the smiles are bigger than the horns. Took Grandpa a lifetime to draw his first CA antelope tag. I doubt 56 years ago he thought he'd eventually be hunting with his son and grandson.

    2033 Paunsagaunt rifle

Don't forget to look south of the highway to the AZ border. We saw good bucks there a couple years ago. Just a warning, you'll seldom see the same buck twice.

    111-115 Muzzleloader Bull

Wanted to get back in here and give my post hunt report. I had talked to a ton of people before the hunt, so my preseason scouting was more of learning the areas and trying to eliminate some and less about finding elk. 111-115 Muzzleloader Bull

So went over scouting last weekend. Had many spots to look at and not much time to do it. This resulted in quite a bit of running and gunning and not really digging in on any one spot. Saw some cool looking country, some deer and finally one big group of elk (~60 cows, a few small bulls and...
